This summer I underwent an independent study as part of my bachelors degree at Concordia University in Electroacoustic Studies. The project was the musical creation and digital marketing of an Electroacoustic and Chiptune extended play. The purpose of this study was to explore what combining these two musical genres together would create. It illustrated what the skills of a first-year Concordia student can create when performing, composing, mixing and mastering an EP. The goal of this independent study was to create an artistic product in the form of an EP that will appeal to a diverse audience of chiptune enthusiasts and electroacoustic partisans. I hope that you enjoy this music and pick up the EP.
